Hemel at the front desk provided truly exceptional customer service during my stay at La Quinta Inn in Fort Walton Beach. I traveled from Massachusetts to attend an Air Force Civilian Service Hiring Event hosted by Eglin Air Force Base. Because of Tropical Storm Bertha, my incoming flight was redirected to New Orleans, resulting in a three-to-four-hour delay. I did not arrive at the hotel until approximately 8:45 p.m., and the hiring event was scheduled to begin at 9:00 the following morning. I had expected the hotel to have a business center where I could print copies of my résumé, cover letter, and transcripts. When I learned that a printer was not available for guest use, Hemel immediately stepped in to help. On both mornings of the hiring event, she printed five to ten copies of each of my documents as soon as I asked. She even took the initiative to carefully organize and staple every set for me. After such a stressful and unpredictable travel experience, Hemel’s kindness, professionalism, attention to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond made an enormous difference. Her assistance allowed me to arrive at an important career event prepared and confident. This was customer service at its absolute best. Thank you so much, Hemel! La Quinta Inn is fortunate to have someone who represents the hotel with such genuine care and professionalism.

They let us check in a little bit early and provided room that were right next door to each other. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

− The pool was closed for maintenance for hal5of our trip and they did not respond to a partial refund request. We were on the 4th floor and the elevators were bad. They were completely shut down for a full day. The breakfast was ok but offered the same thing every day and no refrigerator with cold options. Listing said beach access was within a mile, but actual access was not within reasonable walking distance.
