Great for the price
8.0My husband and his friend were in town for the Spartan Race. They needed a clean and comfortable place to stay for a couple nights. The American Inn was perfect for them. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. They would definitely recommend this hotel. It doesn't look like all that much on the outside, but the rooms are great. It is obviously an older hotel, but they are working hard to keep it up to date. Free wifi. The breakfast is very minimal. The only items offered when they were there was cereal and biscuits and gravy. If you are looking for a place to eat while you are in Cleburne, they highly recommend Joe's Pizza.
Pleasantly Suprised
8.0Usually try to stick to the bigger chains, but we were left hanging by a Cleburne Manufacturer and wanted to stay close. We asked to see a room and the owner was MORE than happy to show us one. The room was clean, recently updated and HUGE. We ended up staying and were VERY pleased. I will warn you that it is owned by people of "middle eastern" decent, but the property does not fall in to the stereotypical foreign owned places. VERY friendly people and a clean comfy room. What more can you ask for. Give them a try. I think that even if you are somewhat picky, you will not be sorry. Oh, and good wi fi!!!!!!
