10.0The hotel is like a sanctuary very close to historic Rome. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Glad we took advantage of the breakfast and happy hour.
Hidden gem with rustic charm
10.0My wife and stayed for five nights. Right from the moment we arrived at the hotel we were made to feel welcome and special. The reception staff are excellent and very accommodating. All of the hotel staff, from the cleaners to breakfast and bar staff are very good at their jobs - friendly and professional. Like other reviewers, special mention for Kevin, who is excellent in the bar, his customer service goes above and beyond. Makes a great Apersol Spritz! The tasty free buffet on offer during the happy hour is a nice gesture. The hotel Santa Maria is truly a hidden gem with plenty of rustic charm which I have no hesitation in recommending.

Excellent Boutique Hotel
10.0Hotel Santa Maria is the CUTEST boutique hotel nestled within the alley way of Trastevere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was so accommodating and friendly and Kevin (the bartender) was seriously the best! The breakfast and aperitifs were great! He gave us phenomenal service and we had so much fun! 10/10 would stay there again and highly recommend!
