Near restaurants …plenty of choices

− I had trouble with the WiFi password and the height of the bed…..I am 5’3 but I managed ok.

Overall my stay was good and peaceful, will definitely recommend anytime

Breakfast was very good had a pretty good time to accommodate even those who don't wake up early. 6-10

− House keeping service wasn't the best

Very convenient location. Very roomy. Couldn’t beat the cost.

Wonderful Staff. The young man that checked us in is great. My travel guest was very please with breakfast. I am not an early breakfast person. It looked delicious.

− I didn’t like the sheets on the bed. Some better sheets could be provided.

Nightmare on skid row

The room was dirty, the next morning we saw the manager taking the linen to her personal car, which is unsanitary. Upon, check in I had to change rooms because there were giant flying roaches dead in my room with a king bed. I was changed to a room with double beds. The hallway smelled like mildew. The ceilings had water damage. Fast forward when breakfast came people were allowed off the streets to come in eat maybe they were friends with hotel staff. This is not the first time the Oyo in East Hanover, is also a choice hotel and it was horrible. I will never stay at a choice property unless they can assure me of cleanliness.

I would give our stay a 6 out of 10. Not being able to flush the toilet is a problem.

I like how comfortable the beds were. I loved the breakfast attendant. She was nice and very helpful. The breakfast area was clean. The food was hot. There were a variety of options.

− I didn't like our toilet would not flush and the bathroom sink did not drain properly. I called the front desk. The guy said he would send maintenance. No one came that night. I did not receive a follow up call from the front desk. The next morning me and my children got up early to eat breakfast and leave. I told the lady at the front desk our toilet did not work and the sink would not drain. She stated, "What was your room number. I told her. She said that room was not suppose to be rented out. She said I would get a refund. She asked were there any other problems during our stay. I said no. She said she will let her GM know so I could get a refund. I said Okay. She said have safe travels. I said thank you." My children and I left. I waited 5 days before I called the hotel back because I had not received the refund. I thought it needed time to process. A lady answered at the front desk. I told her why I was calling. She said I would have to talk to the GM. The GM came on the phone. Apparently, the lady had already explained to her what I was calling about because she immediately started talking. No hi, no apology. She asked me the names of the people I told about the toilet so she can verify to be able to give me a refund. Of course, I didn't know their names. She said she couldn't give me a refund if she couldn't verify it. I explained I didn't know their names. I asked if their names were in the computer because they checked me in and out. I also asked who name was on the maintenance request because as me and my children were walking out of the room to leave, he was coming in. She said she didn't have any documentation that there was a problem so she couldn't give me a refund. My phone started breaking up. I apologized about that. I don't know if she actually heard me because I lost service. I called back when I got in a better area. The same lady answered. She said the GM was not there.
