I am going to start out with the positive. The shower pressure was the best I think I ever had. The cookies in the afternoon by they main desk were a nice surprise. Your staff was polite and they work hard but they aren't set up for success. Stayed here 2 days brought our swim suits and the pool had a stench that I couldn't place. It wasn't too much chlorine but something wasn't right. The hotel seems run down. Carpet in hallway near room 320's was coming up and bubbling. Found an unknown spot on my mattress pad. They key for the rooms is old, you actually put the card in the slot not wave it like most hotels. Twice we had to have our keys rekeyed. Breakfast was ok, location is good. I saw many marks in the elevator and tiles in bathroom seem broken. The hotel needs a makeover. I will give you an example when we came in the sanitizer on 3rd floor was empty, told somebody it was empty. When we left 2 days later still empty. Also how can a hotel not have HD on their tvs...

Family Vacation

We stayed here for 2 nights after going to the Field Of Dreams baseball site the week of June 22, 2026. The king sized bed room was more that sufficient for the two of us. As this is an "Express" there is no restaurant onsite but there are more that enough local restaurants within 2 miles. The morning breakfast was very good as well with the usual eggs, sausage links, pancakes, biscuits & gravy, fruit, cereals, etc. Our noise level was possibly less than others as we were on the 4th floor but we really didn't hear anything loud or out of the ordinary. As our room window over looked the main parking lot, we could see a lot of vehicles pulling in around dinner time and leaving early the next morning. We found everything was clean and orderly and did not have the issues that previous posted have mentioned (ie odd smells in the hallways, dirty carpets, dirty rooms, door cards not working). The staff we interacted with was pleasant as well.

Don't Stay Here!

Stayed here for two nights and would not stay again. The biggest issue was cleanliness. The bathroom was so dirty that I didn't even want to take a shower. The overall hotel felt run down and poorly maintained. The key card system was also a complete joke. The room key would work once and then stop working, requiring a trip back to the front desk to have it reset over and over again throughout our stay. Most of the staff were pleasant and friendly. The location is okay, but if you're coming for a baseball tournament, do yourself a favor and find something closer to the fields. Between the distance, the cleanliness issues, and the constant key card problems, this hotel was more frustrating than convenient.

This place was a dump, in my opinion. Filthy bathroom, Grime in the corners of the bathroom & shower. Dirty walls, etc. The dresser drawers were open when we arrived & would not close. How this place has a 4 star rating is beyond me.

Overpriced and underwhelming.

Location. Easy to get to and from Dyersville. Enjoyed pool and hot tub.
