Staff was great, everything was clean

− No Internet in the rooms, the quality of food was so so, the cars were ok, not Greta usually they did not clean inside from a day to the next. The one that picked us up at the airport was dirty and the next day they had not cleaned it

The Fairmont Mara Safari Club was an unforgettable experience, enhancing our 10th wedding anniversary. Hannah Gitau and Miriam Akhonya’s communication and attention to detail, along with the staff’s care, made our stay smooth. Charles and Eddie’s orientation was excellent. Our room had a welcome message from Jackson and team, who kept it stocked and clean. We had a stunning view of hippos from our room. Staff recognized us by name in the lobby, and David at the bar knew our drink orders. Rose, our server, was attentive, and other staff like Shiko, Kilonzo, and James contributed to our experience. Game drives with Alfred and Steve were highlights, spotting the Big Five and exceeding expectations. On our last day, Lamson and Steve made the drives exciting. William, Mary, Winny, and others made us feel like family. We cherished the boma dinners and surprise celebrations. We hope the staff are recognized for their work and interns can join the team. Thank you for an amazing experience.

Excellent Staff

The staff were attentive, warm and kind and the service was top notch. Really enjoyed our stay here and the game drives. Our driver Sam was truly excellent and knowledgeable.

− Given the nature of the property, you could see bugs, frogs and other creatures inside the tent which didn’t make my stay very comfortable. The upside was that the staff were very attentive and helpful whenever we needed their help. I also didn’t like that there’s no network or WiFi inside the tents — you have to go to the lobby to get connected to the world.

We cannot say enough good things about this place! It was beautiful! Very clean and safe. The food was incredible and the staff was exceptional! Everyone was so friendly! They knew our names and made us feel so welcome. The tented lodges were so awesome. Everything was comfortable and every detail tended to. Our twice daily safari drives were the obvious highlight. We saw the Big 5 and sooo much more! Everything was perfect! We loved this place and its staff so much, we didn’t want to leave!

Fantastic location and wonderful service. Not to mention that it’s a real oasis in the wilderness. The facilities are great and our Glam Tent was on the bend on the Mara where the Hippos hang out so we got to see them every day! A little noisy but wonderful. The facility is lovely and very well looked after and maintained. The staff was super attentive and Peter our Head Waiter was great and looked after us the whole trip. Our Guide and Driver David was exceptional and made the trip magical with all the animal spotting and leisurely time we were able to spend in what I would call an Animal Kingdom! Our family of 4 have the most amazing memories! We would return in a heartbeat!

− It was spectacular all around. We did have one small incident when a small lizard got into the Tent, but the staff took it out and everything was back to normal.
