Aging but charming, in the center of the Bernese Alps
8.0This is still a great place to explore the Berner Oberland region. Or relax in the hotel. The community area is large and quiet, and the pool is great. The views are spectacular. Parking is free and (usually) easy. Breakfast is very nice.
− The hotel has new ownership since the last time we were here (2 years ago) and the staff seems less welcoming now. The building is showing its age. Several A/C units were installed and then they discovered that a permit was needed (and will probably not be issued). So the rooms can be hot. And they are very small withou any amennities.
