The Karel V is a wonderful place to stay with lovely accommodations and centrally located.
10.0Upon arrival we were notified that we had been upgraded to the 4th flr in the main building and the accommodations upon entry were amazing. Spacious, comfortable, and lovely bathroom. The staff were as friendly as could be always at the ready with a suggestion for dinner or whatever adventure type we were seeking. The locations was perfect for accessing town as well as the railway station.
− There was nothing we did not like or would recommend to do better. Our expectations were met or exceeded in each category.
Nice place but guests could be thought of more to justify the price.
5.0The room was well appointed, but you can't really sit on the balcony and the room was very dark. There were no extras available for free in the room; everything had a price. The only free thing was the coffee and milk. One good thing was the wellness space; it is not manned and although it is quite small it does have a sauna and pool. On a busy day though it would be overwhelmed.
− The restaurants couldn't be used on site; they were short staffed and people waited for ridiculous times. We gave up.
