Best Charleston Hotel
10.0Remodel looks great. Pool area is very nice and relaxing. Staff is very welcoming and kind. Our preferred Charleston hotel for staycations.
Perfection at Charleston Place
10.0Not big on giving reviews but we have been coming to Charleston Place for 20 years. The hotel has changed hands over the years. Whoever is the new owner and management team is superb. Stayed on the Club for my wife's 50th birthday and we were treated like royalty. I am well travelled and have stayed at many 5 star hotels in the US and abroad. Hands down the best hotel experience. Shout out to Dan and Ronald on the Club level for making our stay so amazing. Dan is an institution on the Club and remembered our previous stays and our kids when we took them there moons ago. Already looking to rebook soon. To all the staff - Thank you! You are the heart of soul of the hotel.
Be aware of making reservations for Breakfast
8.0Beautiful hotel service is great but an interesting thing that they never told us when we checked in and we’re a guest here for three days that you have to make a reservation for breakfast. You can be a hotel guest and you have to make a reservation and wait until they have a table available and they had plenty of open tables. I don’t understand the stupidity of this policy. I’ve stayed at the Saint Regis Ritz Carlton‘s five star hotels all across the country and never seen something that ridiculous that hotel guests have to make a reservation for breakfast.
