It was clean and pleasant but poor value for money
6.0A nice location and a lovely old building.
− 2 out of our 3 rooms were quite small and not good value for the money. We had to order breakfast the day before which was not ideal and there was no buffet , just one cooked option. The pancakes were good and aspects of the cooked breakfast were good but tinned tomatoes and mushrooms let it down.

Nice stay, very poor accommodation

− Think I was put in the disabled room as it it had a very large bathroom. However, I had paid for a superior double. Didn’t realise this until I got home. The tv was in an awkward position so you couldn’t watch it in bed. The mattress was lumpy, the towels smelt of paint and there was mould in the bathroom. I wouldn’t stay here again
Lovely feel about the place but the food let me down a little.
8.0Only downside was the food. A lot of meat dishes, which I love, but only one fish dish. So many to choose from they must have all been in a pre-packed state when purchased. But curry I had was good. Breakfast was not so good. Lots of juice and coffee, but nothing light to eat. Bacon had been prepared earlier and going dry and very salty. Mushrooms were out of a tin and tasteless. Pity as I was looking forward to my breakfast. But I would stay there again due to the good rooms and staff.
