GOOD PLACE FOR A SHORT BREAK
10.0Very good hotel in fine building in beautuful Rutland town not far from Oakham, Rutland Water, and Stamford. Room was a good size, ckean and quiet. Recrption area light and airy and good place for a drink or a bite to eat.All staff were polite and helpful. Good value for what we paid. Would recommend.

10.0This is a very nice hotel ,the room we had was fantastic.We loved the history of the hotel and its location.The staff where faultless ,from the check in desk ,the catering,and the bar staff also the room was nice and clean.We cold not fault this place.

A true gem
10.0A truly fabulous hotel, a charming character building in an excellent location. Our room looked over the square, perfect in every way. Although a historic building the facilities are completely modern and do not have any of the issues that some older hotels suffer from. Even the car park had plenty of room and there's a car park next door but one if ever the car park is full. The service in the restaurant is superb, both efficient and friendly and all the staff are chatty. The quality of the food is also excellent. We had to leave early due to a family emergency but we will definitely return.
