10.0This is our go to place when in Victoria. Great location just a block from gardens and shopping. The rooms are comfortable and the staff are welcoming. Always enjoy our time at Parkside.
Perfect spot for quiet stay and downtown access
10.0Beautiful, calm hotel with awesome amenities. Staff was wonderful and hotel is a quick walk to the heart of downtown. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again!
The location is perfect we had a staycation but it was nice to see our city in a different way

Great stay, lovely property
10.0Great location for accessing downtown Victoria. Bit noisy lower level room floor 2 (from street) Clean, fully equipped kitchen much appreciated with kids. Housekeeping checked in daily without fail. Will stay again, loved the ponds and gardens, very beautiful property setting.
Exceptional service and facility
10.0Stayed at the Parkside many times before, the only negative is hotel fees have gone up since Covid which is sad as this is the same with most things. The Parkside has excellent service and their reservations people are exceptional. The place itself is gorgeous the water theme is appreciated, the suites are well appointed and clean. Having a full kitchen, bar and dining room was very useful for hosting wine tastings while we visited. The view from the 7th floor is beautiful and Beacon Hill park (right beside the hotel) is very fun to explore.
Best place for a staycation or family vacation in Victoria
10.0My family—my wife and our active toddler—and I planned a staycation in March 2026, which was a bit of a ‘forced’ one to get our home fixed. We had an absolutely wonderful time at The Parkside. What really made us choose this hotel was how their suites made us feel like we were at home. They had a proper fridge, a stove and oven and suites that were tastefully clean. The atmosphere was just perfect, and the location, along with all the amenities and Tre Fantástico, made the stay ideal. We were able to continue our lives while enjoying the facilities, like the fitness centre and pool. If I ever need a staycation or have family visiting, The Parkside will definitely be our first choice
