The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Many of the meny choices were not available.
3.0Location and staff
− The bed appeared to be a camp bed type type, I could feel every spring, if indeed that's what they were. Very uncomfortable. The sink was cracked and generally the decore was tired. Breakfast was not available in the Swan.
Good value for money
6.0Good location. Nice food - though wait time very long. Manager good - other staff member possibly new/training(?) was friendly and polite but not experienced. Accommodation possibly overstepped mark between quirky and not quite up to standard. Stairs carpet thread bare in places. Bathroom v small with too low ceiling for shower but bath not clean enough condition (black mildew) to want to sit in it. Had to have self hold shower and duck down - no shower curtain or screen so floor got soaked! Light above mirror not securely fitted to wall and didn’t work. The glass floor over the old furnaces took a bit of getting used to but we do love quirky. The roof light has no blind so awoken early by daylight. Nice quiet nights sleep. Had to go to sister inn for breakfast. Coffee mugs & juice glasses not clean. Poor selection of cereals. No OJ. Cooked Breakfast very good. Overall good value for money but a little maintenance and clean up of bathrooms needed.

On the whole it was basic but comfortable.

− Cleanliness in the bathroom. The jets in Bath were filthy put me off using it. And prefer a shower head which you can attached to the wall also there was no shower curtain. Also there was no toilet brush. I know it's an old property but everything looked tired. Also there was no toilet brush
