Beautiful historic old main house.
8.0The house is an historic 19th century property and the owner showed us around upon arrival and told us something of the history of the house. We were staying in the converted carriage house which was in the courtyard. This provides a little more privacy and you have use of a plunge pool in the courtyard. There are also table and chairs around the courtyard for residents use and a fire pit. The breakfast provided is in the main house so you are able to meet and chat with other guests, which is nice. The breakfast itself was very nice. The carriage house had as an eclectic style but has all the facilities that you need for a short stay. The location of the property is in the historic district, where there are a number of beautiful buildings. It is also walkable to downtown where you can go to a bar, coffee house or ice cream parlour. There is plenty of to do along the Seawall and beach area. All in all, a very pleasant 2 night stay .
Great room and breakfast
8.0The honeymoon suite is everything! The tub in the middle of the living space was very romantic. It took me a moment to figure out how the jets work, and one of them didn't work, but it was still a very relaxing experience. I did have an issue with not being allowed into the main house. If I'm paying for the most expensive room, I should be allowed to receive the code for the main house so I can warm up food. I didn't like the response I received about having to call them so they could let me in the main house. I felt like they thought I had ill intentions, and that made me uncomfortable. My partner doesn't want to stay here anymore because of that interaction. But, the breakfast was amazing every morning, and Renee is really intentional about recognizing food allergies.

10.0My husband and I came for a quick getaway while our daughter was at a nearby camp. The property and our room were lovely! Breakfast was delicious and Renee was very accommodating with dietary requests. The bed was very comfortable. We look forward to returning!

8.0Great experience in a great unique hotel. Lovely pool and great location. We visited the sea front and the nature reserves in the early mornings as we were still suffering from jet lag. The room was great lots of space and nice hosts. Make the effort and visit the nature reserves in to watch the sunrise
