The villa was great and spacious with great potential.

− Called the maintenance staff because there were no instructions on the spa, they never showed up. Weeds all around lack of maintenance. Room was hot as AC was set made for a warm room hard to sleep through the night

There are so many good things I can say about this resort, but unfortunately, there are quite a few negatives that need to be mentioned as well. Let’s start with the positives. The views are absolutely outstanding and, quite honestly, the main reason to stay here. No matter where you are on the property, the scenery is breathtaking. It is truly one of the most beautiful settings I’ve experienced. Unfortunately, the service is extremely inconsistent. It ranges from excellent to downright poor depending on the day, the location, and the staff member you’re dealing with. We stayed in one of the villas, and for two days a portion of the villa had no air conditioning despite temperatures being around 80 degrees. To their credit, management compensated us with a complimentary massage, so I was willing to overlook that issue. One of the biggest frustrations was transportation. The only way to get around from the villas is by calling for a van pickup, whether you’re heading to golf, the spa, or a restaurant. The van service was slow and inconsistent. Sometimes we had great drivers and prompt service; other times, not so much. The villas themselves are in desperate need of updating. The furnishings and décor feel like they’re from another era. While the private pool was lovely and very well heated, the overall upkeep of the unit felt shabby and neglected. It’s disappointing because the setting is so spectacular that this resort could easily earn a five-star rating if the accommodations and service matched the surroundings. We booked the all-inclusive package, which should have made the experience easier, but the upcharges were excessive. A small bag of potato chips was $26. Premium liquor drinks started around $23 and went up from there. At nearly every meal, there was pressure to upgrade to additional items not included in the package. Another frustration was the billing process.

Amazing views and lots of room in the villa.

The views were amazing. I also like the fact that you could visit different sister properties and use their facilities.

When people check in, make sure they have water in their rooms and make sure they tell guests their room service rules. We struggled to get food and drinks our first night, staff didn’t really care.
