6.0Stayed at the hotel at the beginning and end of time in CR. Paid for breakfast twice and didn't get breakfast either time. First time it was because there was only two of us in the hotel so they decided to do breakfast 7-8 but didn't tell anyone. Second time I was told they couldn't cater for an early check out, not even a bread roll. The photos on the internet are much nicer than the place which is quite run down and bathrooms really need some work. Area is great to walk in to town for the day time though and has plenty of restaurants around it for the evening. WiFi is ok. Noise from closing gate and local train was annoying.

4.0The room was very dirty upon arrival. There foot marks all over the bathroom floors. There are also dirty marks on the wall as well. The sink doesn’t drain properly, you have to keep lifting up the plug to drain the water. What I like about the place is the garden.

4.0I stayed here for four nights & would sum up my stay as ‘barely adequate’. It is extremely loud, due to nearby bars, traffic, and flocks of noisy birds, making sleeping difficult. The mattress felt like sleeping on a sack of cement & the breakfast was basic. Finally, the staff was not friendly or particularly helpful. When I asked for an iron, the receptionist gave me one that was obviously broken. Stay elsewhere.
