Perfect Mountain Getaway
10.0It's a great hotel - perfect location, excellent dining options, and an outdoor pool set up that is first class. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly.
Relaxing and luxurious
10.0Staff were exceptional. Pool and bar area very relaxed, and our apartment was beautifully finished. Any request was handled incredibly quickly and professionally. At the higher end of what we would normally spend but it was worth it.
Recommend Elsewhere in Snowmass
2.0Dated, small studio rooms, food very mediocre especially for the price point, poor valet service where often have to wait a long time even if you called ahead for your car (there is no self parking), housekeeping is subpar often missing spots that should have been cleaned or even forgetting to take out the trash. If in Snowmass, recommend you stay at the Limelight or Viewline for better food and service and a better location in Base Village or Snowmass Mall, respectively. Both properties are better managed than the Viceroy.
A Whole New Take on "Lift Line"
8.0Apparently, mentioning the name of the architect/designer--Jean-Michel-Gathy of Denniston International--is important when professional reviewers (or AI even!) recap this place. Well, somebody tell Jean Michel that just two elevators don't come close to handling the guest load at a major resort with over 170 rooms!. ("Standards", Jean-baby!) Since the 4th floor is the entrance and main lobby you'll want to book a room on the third or fifth floor so it's only a one-flight-walk in the (hidden) stairwell to come and go. Otherwise, clean beautiful, pricey as noted.
Best experience of our road trip!
10.0The entire experience was excellent - from the valet crew taking extra care of my son's Supra, to the ease of check-in and check-out,. The final bill exactly as expected. The restaurant had something for me (gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free) for breakfast that was absolutely wonderful. We will definitely be back!
