Beautiful hotel with the best staff

This was our fifth visit to this hotel and it never fails to impress us. The facilities are amazing, the grounds so well kept and attractive, the food out of this world but the biggest asset are the beautiful friendly staff, they are a credit to the hotel and can't do enough for you with constant smiles on their faces. They really are the reason we keep returning.

Everything This is our second time In Sunrise Royal Makadi and we will definitely come again next summer. The staff is very welcoming and so polite, the pools and beach are outstanding, the food is exceptional, the animation team are so much fun and really nice and all the activities are really enjoyable

From the moment you arrive at the resort, you are welcomed warmly and invited to take a seat while completing the check-in process. Refreshments are served, allowing you to relax instead of standing in a queue at reception, which is a lovely touch. Amr at the front desk was extremely welcoming and eager to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Upon arrival, we were also introduced to the Head Chef to discuss any dietary requirements, which demonstrated the resort's excellent attention to guest needs. The team member who truly went above and beyond was Fahmy from Guest Relations. Every morning, Fahmy would message us to check if there was anything we needed, followed by a phone call each evening to ensure everything had met our expectations and to ask if there was anything further he could do to improve our stay. Every request we made was acknowledged promptly and completed efficiently. His outstanding level of care and professionalism made a significant difference to our holiday. Other resorts could certainly learn from this resort's approach to customer service and guest hospitality. I have previously stayed at Rixos resorts in Egypt, but the service here was, without doubt, even better. There was also an excellent selection of complimentary activities available throughout the day, including archery, mini golf, table tennis, darts, billiards, and many more, ensuring there was always something to enjoy. I would highly recommend this resort and would happily return in the future.

− Providing freshly opened bottled sparkling soft drinks in the à la carte restaurants would be appreciated, as on several occasions the drinks were flat. Introducing an Indian restaurant, similar to those available at Sentido resorts, would be a welcome addition and would appeal to many guests. Adding indoor recreational activities such as table tennis and foosball in the lobby bar area would be a great improvement. During the hottest parts of the day, it can be uncomfortable to participate in outdoor activities, so having more indoor entertainment options would enhance the overall guest experience.
