My partner and I are travelling round Mexico with our 8 month old daughter and this was a perfect place to start our trip. The condo had all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. The pool was gorgeous and the jacuzzi outside our room felt like our own private one! Being off season, it was lovely and peaceful. It is in a great location to walk to the main strip of Playa Del Carmen where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Thanks for a brilliant experience. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting playa del Carmen.

− Negatives? The England v Argentina result didn’t go my way and the seaweed meant we couldn’t go in the sea. Two things that El Taj can’t control. No negatives at all from me!

Housekeeping kept rooms very clean, property was nice- good location .

− The bell staff took some of our property. We were first placed in a penthouse room and after we started unpacking they informed us that hot tub did not work- we rushed to repack items and I accidentally left a pair of semi expensive shoes and a power charger in first room. The elevators did not work and we were on the 3 floor with 3 large suitcases. When I noticed my shoes and charger were missing a few days later- I was told they were not there- no one else had occupied that room so one of the 2 bell staff that assisted us obliviously took them. I tipped super well so was a little disappointed. The elevators in both buildings did not work consistently so take that into consideration before booking penthouse. Also ask if everything is working before taking room assignment.

Het appartement was heerlijk. Het was groot en alles was aanwezig. De bedden waren groot en lagen heel lekker, de locatie was top, midden in het centrum maar je hoorde niks van de clubs in de avond. De jacuzzi was een fijne aanvulling van het verblijf. Je kunt gebruik maken van 2 zwembaden, hier kwamen wij pas later achter.

− Het was aan zee maar je kon geen gebruikmaken van het strand. Het water kwam hoog en het bekende zeegras probleem. Ook stonk het behoorlijk als het er lang lag maar daar kan het verblijf niks aan doen verder.
