10.0The Villa we rented was superb. On the water with a deck over the water. One of many Villas in Jolly Harbour. A short walk to the South Beach (Beautiful Beach). Great Bars and Restaurants at the Marina with live bands. Grocery store and Golf course next to the marina. We rented a golf cart to get around, but you can walk. Jolly Harbour is one of the best places in the world.

10.0Having been to Jolly Harbour, I knew what to expect and was not disappointed. The property was clean and kitchen well stocked. The area around the villa was well maintained with amenities nearby including a bus stop to take you to town. Only feedback i would give would be to provide a what on guide in the villa that was current. We had a villa book but not a 2024 What's On guide. I pick one up from HBK on my last day. If i had issues the staff tended to them and when Storm Ernesto came, someone came around to check on us. It was my 10th time to Antigua and 4th time to Jolly Harbour. My husband loves it as he an fish off of the patio.
Unacceptable number of problems.
4.0The villa is best described as “worn” and needing attention. The list of problems is endless… No Wi-Fi for four days No water to bathroom tap Broken toaster (All rectified within sixth day of stay) I prioritised these three problems otherwise I’d have spent too much time complaining Light bulbs not working No plugs in any of four sinks Mosquito net on patio doors ripped Kitchen surfaces grubby Cutlery old and greasy The list is endless I’m afraid. I would NOT recommend staying at HBK holiday rentals at Jolly Harbour. BTW - the Antiguan people are still as warm, welcoming and friendly as ever.

10.0Our Villa at HBK Jolly Harbor was up-to-date and provided for all of our needs and comforts. In addition we appreciated the functioning wireless. There were a few light bulbs not working and I would recommend bringing adapters for the electrical outlets if you are using US plug-ins. There was one US outlet in the kitchen which we used for all phones & computers. Beautiful place to vacation!
