Needs a little love
7.0The beachfront and jetty are beautiful, especially when the tide is in and at sunset. The pool access rooms are spacious, with luxurious baths and plenty of space. Breakfast was really good with plenty of options and an excellent egg chef, and the kitchen did a mean club sandwich! It's great if you're looking for a quiet location. And beautiful Thai hospitality, lovely staff, of course. I'm sure this resort was something special when it was in it's prime.
− There were noisy roof repair works underway during my stay, which meant I couldn't get the most out of my pool access balcony and room during the day. And because there were limited pool / beach lounges, sometimes it was easier to go off site to relax, which defeats the purpose of staying at a resort a little bit. Cocktails about a 4/10. My room was also very noisy, banging and clanking from above rooms, aircon, and also from nearby equipment. The piped music sounds like a mobile phone ringtone, and gets a bit too much after a while. The location is great if you're looking for a quiet getaway (when the renovations are completed!), but isolated if you want restaurants and bars - you'll need regular taxis or Grabs. I think a little love would bring this place back to its former glory, but it's languishing a little at the moment.

− A bit run down. Needs more work on maintenance especially the toilet. Water knobs were coming off and flush was not that powerful. Breakfast was also not too good.
