Lovely location and attentive service, but I was expecting more value at $1K per night.
7.0Great location and the Inn Keeper was very attentive. She had chairs for the beach and towels and the breakfast was good.
− The Inn sits in front of a busy Main Street with a lot of traffic. We stayed in the top apartment, which is basically a converted attic. If you are tall, this is not the place for you. The height in the shower and entry ways is approximately 6 feet. In addition, it was noisy at night since the windows were old and were not soundproof. I’m guessing it’s as cold as the North Pole in winter time.

3.0Location is good, close to the train station and the main shopping town.
− 1. I booked the most expensive suite which is listed as dog friendly suite. Booking.com's final price is $730 per night which I agreed to pay. Mill House charged me $860 for a night the next day. I called them but the receptionist (Tayler) confirmed the price and said it was because of the $69 additional dog service charge (not listed on Booking.com), they charged higher service fee and tax than booking.com prices. They refused to refund me until I reached out to booking.com after my stay. 2. No amenities, they have a small dining room and backyard, it's facing the high way. No services but charged 15% service fees. Their price is like a 4 star hotel but indeed a house with a small backyard. I booked the most expensive dog suite which is $595/night, $730 after the tax and service fees(resort fee) on booking.com. (The hotel charged me $860/night initially which is higher than what I booked from booking.com) 3. Breakfast included( breakfast is good) but came in take-out plastic boxes instead of plates. I've never seen room service breakfast in take out boxes. I called the receptionist (Tayler) to ask whether breakfast can be put in plates but she said no bc of COVID. (I don't have covid by the way). 4. Didn't have much interactions with the staff bc everything is contactless but still charged 15% service (resort fee). Within a few conversations I had with the receptionist, It was pretty stiff. Not really feeling welcomed.
