6.0The upgraded bathroom was lovely and the beds were comfy.
− We thought the water in the bathroom was boiling hot. Too hot, which made showering and hand washing feel unsafe.

10.0Lovely clean & comfortable rooms with great amenities. Friendly staff & to have a restaurant with great food is a real bonus. Coffee anytime & to replenish our water & tea facilities without hesitation was so nice. The surrounds of the place were clean & so picturesque. The beaut fire pit was not only warming but a great place to sit around with a drink & chat. Great memories of a great place

Beautiful, natural location in a magnificent part of our country
7.0The resort nestles comfortably in a very natural setting, is attractive and well-maintained, and provides a great location from which to explore the magnificent surrounding national park (everything was lush and green after all the rain, but we needed a four-wheel drive to properly explore the gorges where the water still runs). The well-stocked shop is a useful addition to the property, as is the information centre. Our Heysen cottage was comfortable and well located. We appreciated that drinking water was offered freely, as what is in the taps is not considered suitable for drinking.
− Their "restaurant" is really a huge cafe and when busy (as it was during our July stay) was terribly noisy. Food and beverages must be ordered at the bar. This is far from refined dining, though we were surprised to find the food was good, exceeding our expectations for this type of venue.
