Great home-base for Hamilton Island

From the moment you step off the plane, Hamilton Island Beach club treat you like royalty. They collect your baggage for you and bring you to paradise. Iris was amazing! Offering up all the service of Hamilton Beach club. The fact that the shuttle brings you all over the island whenever you want is worth the price of this hotel. Other hotels that you stay at need to rent buggies at $140 a day. Keep this in mind when you choose your hotel. You absolutely need them to get around the island. The breakfast that is included is exquisite! Whether you have it from your patio or from the dining room, it is thoughtfully prepared, and à la carte whatever you wish for. Coffee barista is free all day, which is also delicious. The room has a lovely porch with wallabies outside your door each morning. The Aesop toiletries are lovely as well as the Nespresso coffee machine in the room. The beach is lovely, but if you wish to swim in the water, it is a challenge here. The tides are so aggressive that swimming here is an extensive walk over rocks and sand. At high tide, it is lovely, but that seems to be a minimal amount of time per day here. The walk to hidden Beach is lovely. I suggest you look at the title schedule and make sure that you go during high tide. They call the walk moderate but there is quite a steep hill at the so be prepared for that. Hamilton Island is a unique place in that. All the restaurants and shops are all part of the same system. Wi-Fi works throughout the island and you can charge anything to your room anywhere. If you were looking for a beach vacation, this might not be the place, but I would not hesitate to stay here again for all other amazing amenities!

Here’s a polished review that captures everything you loved while flowing naturally: Our 7-night stay at Beach Club Hamilton Island was nothing short of outstanding. Having stayed at Hayman Island last year, I can honestly say that Beach Club exceeded our expectations, largely because of the exceptional people who work there. From the moment we arrived, every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcome. I was travelling with my 90-year-old mother, and the kindness, patience and care shown to her throughout our stay was truly heartwarming. Every request was attended to promptly and always with a smile. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and it was this genuine hospitality that made our holiday so memorable. The adults-only atmosphere is a huge drawcard. It creates a peaceful, relaxing environment that is perfect for unwinding. We also loved the complimentary soft drinks, juices and barista-made coffees available throughout the day, along with the delicious made-to-order à la carte breakfasts each morning. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with immaculate gardens and lovely rooms. Our ground-floor room was perfect for Mum, allowing her to avoid negotiating stairs. Opening the doors onto our private terrace each morning to enjoy the comfortable lounge area overlooking the sea was a real highlight. If you’re travelling as a couple and prefer more privacy, I’d recommend an upstairs room, but for us the ground floor was ideal. The private beach is stunning, complete with quality sun lounges and Balinese-style day shelters scattered along the sand. The heated wet-edge pool is equally beautiful, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation with plenty of comfortable lounges and umbrellas to relax under. One feature that really impressed us was how much the resort prioritises its own guests. Even without dinner reservations, tables were always kept aside for Beach Club guests (although booking is recommended), making dining stress-free. The complimentary 24-hour chauffeur service around Hamilton Island was another standout, with private transfers arriving promptly whenever we needed them. A very special thank you to Luke, the Front Office Manager, who went above and beyond after a mix-up with a transfer to qualia. He generously arranged a complimentary high tea at qualia, turning an unfortunate situation into a wonderful experience. His professionalism, generosity and genuine care were exceptional. I’d also like to recognise Angeline, Kimberly and Jordan, whose warmth, friendliness and outstanding service helped make our stay so special. Beach Club delivers luxury, comfort and an unbeatable location, but what truly sets it apart is its people. Their genuine care and attention to every guest is something you don’t often experience, even at five-star resorts. We left feeling relaxed, appreciated and already planning our return.
