7.0The great thing about Avani is the location - it’s a beautiful beach where you can see the sun rise every morning, and you can walk over to Bai Xep for amazing seafood meals and a local vibe.
− Overall, it did not feel like the is hotel was at the quality level that it should be at considering the price level. It was by far the most expensive hotel we stayed at during our three weeks in Vietnam (and we stayed at another luxury hotel, as well as mid range and budget options) - yet we had our most disappointing experiences here. Eating at the restaurant outside of breakfast was not a great experience, and we would not recommend it. Very expensive, not good quality and not enough food to fill up even a person with a small appetite. The staff seemed overwhelmed with just a few guests there for dinner. The service levels overall did not match what I would expect at this price point and, while the rooms were lovely and spacious, they felt dated. I want to acknowledge that the hotel staff did try to rectify the situation with our stay as we felt it necessary to complain - which we normally never do! - but I just didn’t feel like we truly had the experience we came for. I would come back to this area again but probably look for a different hotel.

8.0I really liked the place. We stayed two days which was perfect for us. The place is a bit isolated but you can easily order a grab. We had the all inclusive package which is fine for a couple of days. For longer stays I would choose the eat out some days since there wouldn’t be enough variation for us. We like a wider selection. The staff was attentive and talkative. The manager found us in the morning and gave us his card if we had any requests.
− The room needs one more chair in the living room for our taste.
