Traditional, comfortable with excellent access to St Johann in Tirol and train station.
9.0Very clean, good space for our needs with lovely outdoor terrace. Air con was most welcome with the heatwave we experienced. Good swimming pool. Fabulous views of mountains and close proximity to gondola. Easy to walk into town and also easy to get to the train station. The local town is lovely with a good choice for eating out, cafes, bars and even a brew house. Nice shops too and supermarkets for self catering. Lots of lovely walks in the area and we made use of the free local transport card included with our stay. There are also some fun activities nearby in summer. We did the Mountainkart and a Paraglide both of which we really enjoyed.
− Nothing really. Occasionally when returning didn’t look forward to the walk up the steep road but this was mostly because it was a heatwave while we were there and it is a relatively short uphill bit.

Lovely cosy stay with fab views and very helpful host.
9.0It was perfect for skiing, we were able to ski part way down Maxes hill and walk over to the guesthouse,and same in the morning we could walk/ski across Maxes hill to get to the gondola. It was gorgeous to have the fresh bread and croissants in the mornings.
− Our only difficulty was that it was snowy and icy and it was difficult to get our car up the hill. Christian and his dad were very helpful transporting our luggage up for us so it all worked out. So the snow and low temps were great for the skiing but not great for driving on the hill!
Great accommodation on St. Johann
10.0The view is spectacular. The host, Christian, is exceptionally nice and welcoming. It is a lovely cosy and warm room, and it is really fun to eat breakfast or drink your coffee there. Free parking.
− Approach road with car is a bit steep and small, but manageable. It was a bit cold in the room and we had to ask the heat to be turned on - which Christian immediately did.
A superb option for a group or family.
