8.0Loxandra Studios is a family run business. We were welcomed friendly. Wifi was free and available in all parts of the hotel. The rooms were spacious and cleanliness was okay - though it could be better. The third day we had a little argument when we asked for new towels. The staff insisted that they had been changed the day before which definitely didn't happen. Finally they changed them. I just don't understand why I had to discuss for something so simple. We liked the village a lot. It is small but offers everything you need for your stay (restaurants, cafes, super markets, groceries etc.). The beach is about two minutes by feet from the hotel. It is okay, but not of the best beaches of Halkidi. However in only 15 minutes by car you get to the wonderful beaches of Kalogria Beach and Ormos Panagias! We felt that many families like us were there on vacation. In the evenings the streets were crowded and full of life. Children could play on an big playground and have fun. After midnight streets become quiet. So babies and parents sleep calm :-) On the whole we liked our stay at Loxandra Studios and the village of Metamorphosi and would recommend it to others especially families with little children!
