Everything - The staff at the resort, along with the water sports provider Purple Turtle, were all so helpful and friendly. Everybody went above and beyond to make for a really special 30th birthday for my Partner. It really is a slice of paradise! So luxurious!

The friendly staff are extremely accommodating and provide flawless service. The secluded location brings peace to your holiday, but never at a loss for things to do. There are so many tour options, and free activities for guests. The sense of culture makes this place unforgettable, with music at dinner, cooking and language lessons, fire shows and knife dances.

Loved visiting Matamanoa and definitely hope to be back

This accomodation was absolutely beautiful. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The food was great, transfers ran smoothly and the location of the villas were next level. Couldn’t fault it.

− The only downfall- how expensive meals are being on an isolated island but the food was excellent quality.

Lovely island and amazing staff, however value for money not quite what we were expecting.

The staff were absolutely amazing and they made the stay so much better. They are doing their best that's for sure. We felt very welcome and enjoyed every night with them.

− Room was a bit dusty, could do with a bit of a spruce up in terms of cleaning. No phone to call reception, and minibar options very limited, for example no fruit juice or some basic snacks like chips or nuts. Restaurant food is OK but perhaps a bit basic / bland for the money we paid, but it depended on the dish. Some were really good. You do have to take into account you are on a fairly remote island. In terms of the sea, I would say when we were there the weather definitely leaned more towards more experienced snorkelers/kayakers. We did have a lovely day trip to Cloud 9 where the snorkeling is amazing.

A beautiful location, so peaceful, with lovely, helpful staff. The spa location in the trees overlooking the sea is amazing (and the massage was very good!). Sometimes when on the beach it was like being on your own private property. It was a real treat! The bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the decor nice and modern. Really appreciated the nice long indoor couch for the 1 rainy day during the stay. The roof inside the bure was absolutely beautiful - nothing quite like staring up at stories before going to sleep.

Great location, great rooms and beachfront

− The food could have been better and the staff seemed a bit overworked. More staff are needed.
