8.0The property is 10 minute drive from Sigulda Town. The room was clean and in good condition and the staff were efficient and spoke good English. My wife liked her massage in the spa and the gardens were beautiful. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and were impressed with the food. Only disappointment was the selection at the breakfast buffet.

Toll gelegenes SPA Hotel
8.0Das Hotel ist am Rande eines Ortes und Naturschutzgebiets in schöner Lage mit ausschweifendem Park gelegen. Sehr schön und einem SPA Hotel angemessen. Den Punkt Abzug gab es dafür, daß wir erst einen Tag vor Anreise erfuhren das der mitgebrachte SPA aufgrund kurzfristig notwendig werdender Wartung nicht verfügbar war. Für uns als Städtereisende das entspannende Element also nicht verfügbar. C'est la vie. So was kommt vor... man bot uns alternativ Upgrade, Rückerstattung oder auch ein anderes Hotel mit SPA an. Sehr fair. Wir hatten aber dieses Hotel behalten und es war die richtige Entscheidung. Das Hotel hatte ein sehr gutes Frühstück welches wir auf der Veranda mit tollem Ausblick in den Park genießen durften. Die Burg, das nahegelegene Naturschutzgebiet bieten viel mehr als eine Übernachtung ermöglicht.

6.0Overall good accommodation but the room lacked some basics which I have come to expect from most hotel rooms. Tea and coffee making facilities (kettle), hairdryer and safe.
