Spacious accomodarion, with well appointed rooms in tranquil location .Air conditioning in bedroom and living areas. The perfect place for a quiet, relaxing weekend getaway. Managers were very helpful. Close to local vinyards , restaurants and cafes.

Difficile à dire... Après avoir été agressés verbalement et physiquement par le propriétaire, nous avons été contraints de quitter les lieux avant même d'avoir passé une seule nuit.

− Propriétaires agressifs, ignorants des exigences du métier. À la suite de nos réclamations, nous avons subi insultes "Go fuck yourself" et menaces physiques. Nous sommes partis sans même avoir passé une seule nuit dans le logement. Malgré nos réclamations, que nous estimions légitimes, les propriétaires ont refusé de nous rembourser, nous traitant de personnes irrespectueuses. La maison n'a rien d'une "villa de luxe". Nous avons là une petite maisonnette vieillissante et mal entretenue. La climatisation de la chambre est bruyante et insuffisante, recrachant même quelques insectes au démarrage. Le four de la cuisine est sale, ancien et ne semble pas avoir accueilli de plats depuis belle lurette. Le frigo, quant à lui, fuyait à notre arrivée et ne produisait pas la fraîcheur suffisante à la conservation de nourriture. L'eau des robinets est marron, trouble. Impensable de cuisiner, se doucher ou d'imaginer se brosser les dents avec une eau aussi insalubre. Dans un camping, cela n'aurait pas été problématique, mais à 1800 AUD la semaine, on est en droit d'espérer autre chose. Pour ce qui est de la maison, elle est chaude et humide, une odeur de renfermé y est fortement imprégnée. L'accueil des propriétaires est froid et indifférent. Nous étions visiblement les seuls locataires, le parking était vide et semblait l'avoir été depuis un certain temps. Des petits détails comme des tapis extérieurs sales, jetés en vrac sur le chemin, la maison pas même climatisée quelques minutes avant notre arrivée, pas d'accompagnement pour l'installation, pas de tour des lieux avec le propriétaire alors que la maisonnette est située à quelques pas du poste de réception, adjacent à la maison des propriétaires. Pour le frigo, après nous avoir recommandé de "mieux fermer la porte du frigo", il nous a été proposé de le remplacer. Pour l'insalubrité de l'eau en revanche, c'est le déni.

This property is in a very quiet and peaceful location, with grape vines and pomegranite orchards. The cottage is very spacious and fully furnished, including a large patio with BBQ. The kitchen is fully equipped for far more than 2 people, the dining table seats 6 and there are 2 large sofas. There is a corner spa bath (which we didn't use) although the bathroom arrangement is a bit unusual. The toilet is in a seperate room down the hall, while the bathroom is part of the bedroom with no walls or door. So showering is in full view of any one in the bedroom at the time. This may or may not be an issue, depending on individual circumstances, but is not immediately obvious from the photos or description. The bed was large and comfortable and the place was clean, but there were a few issues which prevented it from being a 5 star accomodation, which it probably was when first opened.

− There are a number of issues which let the property down, while all fairly minor, they would also have been easy to fix. The TV remote didn't work, a trip to reception for new batteries fixed this. The microwave did not work. This required deeper investigation and a staff member came to have a look. After checking power points etc it turned out the fuse had blown. The fuse box was in a locked cupboard and once identified, easily remedied. The range hood over the cooktop was clearly broken. Not an issue for us as we weren't cooking. The tap over the sink in the toilet was broken at the base and quite wonky. The mirror over the sink, was hung crookedly and every time the door closed it rattled agains the top edge of the tiles. Finally none of the toiletries in the bathroom were full, the individual bottles were all nearly empty and the box containing a shower cap was empty. Again all easliy fixed with a call to reception. However all this left us wondering what else was going to break or not work and gave the overall imppression of a place which was unloved. The staff at reception were made aware of all these issues at the time and they were not deal breakers. But the experience could have been so much better, especially considering the price.
