Wonderful place to stay in downtown, would come back again!
10.0Very nicely renovated historical landmark hotel. Staff was very receptive to requests. Hotel had a lot of amenities which allows a nice little staycation if you didn’t want to go out.
− Valet parking, never a huge fan. The service was great, but the cost was $18 per night.

We will never stay at Padre ever again and will never recommend it to others.
1.0The elevator was broken. After waiting for 3 hours, we ended up checking out and leaving. The staff was extremely unhelpful. They didn't offer to carry our bags upstairs for us. They didn't offer a discount or even 1 free drink. I used to stay at The Padre on trips between SoCal and NorCal. Never again.
− The staff could have admitted they had no idea if the elevator could fixed. Instead they kept saying 20 minutes or they're testing it now. Because we believed them, we had dinner & drinks in their restaurant After a long day of travel, we had really been looking forward to resting, instead we ended up having to search for a new hotel at 10pm.
