Beautiful old country house hotel
10.0Superb hotel in lovely location, small village just a few miles from Lincoln centre. The team were all so professional and yet friendly, nothing seemed too much trouble. The garden at the front of the hotel with a small terrace is picture perfect (our room overlooked the garden) and we enjoyed drinks either there or in the cosy lounges. The food was amazing, from the home-made granola at breakfast to the steak at dinner. The rooms were very comfortable and large. We not only visited Lincoln centre (plenty of car parking at the top of the city near the cathedral and boutiquey shops) but also RAF Conningsby for the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight tour and the International Bomber Command Memorial - newly developed - which is literally down the road. Hope to come back at some point, but meanwhile we would definitely recommend!
