4.0I was excited to stay at the Pia hot springs resort. Upon arrival the resort seemed different from my research. The wonderful resort had experienced a flood in September. I was looking forward to all their services and amenities, the disaster wiped out many of the hot tubs and they have no services and a limited breakfast. The staff was super. It’s unfortunate that this resort has fallen on hard times.

4.0Had to call to let them know we were arriving late, as they didn’t respond to email messages. It appeared that the resort had encountered flooding as it was very muddy and there was visible damage where hot tubs from some rooms had fallen into the river. Room was very basic, no tv or fridge and bed was like sleeping on concrete. Cleaning of the room was good and the breakfast selection was good. A shame they weren’t serving lunch or dinner as a ‘resort’. Pool was dirty and very un inviting

10.0We upgraded to a superior bungalow right on the river front. The room was well designed, huge, pretty and the bed was very comfy. The staff were lovely, and to e breakfast is good. The forest garden is well established, with some huge, ancient trees. It is not manicured, but rather a bit more to the natural and wild side. The hot spa pool is big and crystal clear. The huge swimming pool is beautifully landscaped. We had the whole place to ourselves and it felt very luxurious and we loved it.
