This was my first time staying at a Golden Tulip property. Our male housekeeping attendant did an excellent job during our stay but unfortunately I did not get his name (Room 305). The room was spacious and comfortable. The in-house laundry service was the best I have used in all my travels with the folded shirts looking like I just bought them at the store. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection. My interactions with the Engineering Staff, the Housekeeping Staff, and the Food & Beverage Staff were both positive and professional during my stay,

− Upon checking in as a new guest, I found the room was not properly inspected by Management as I discovered the mini bar refrigerator was broken and there was no inventory or price list for the mini bar contents. Since I was traveling with friends who had another room, I discovered that I was missing a third of the items that should have been in the mini bar. Since I needed a working refrigerator and the missing items could have resulted in invalid charges to my room, I called the Front Desk asking for someone to come to the room to check the refrigerator and the mini bar contents. The Front Desk staff were not responsive to my concerns as it took multiple phone calls and a visit to the front desk before they actually sent anyone to take care of the matter (which involved Engineering replacing the refrigerator and Housekeeping providing the missing food items and the inventory price list). I found the Front Desk staff to be lacking in their desire to understand my concerns and they showed no true interest in actually assisting me during my stay.

We liked the location. Room large, very nice and clean. Had a wonderful housekeeping attendant Virendra Kurang. The name is possibly misspelled but we were in rooms 303 and 305. Fabulous folding job on our laundry that we sent out. Very nice variety of breakfast foods. Enjoyed bar area and service there. Appreciated that they exchanged USD to INR at the front desk.

− Pool area a little tight with monkeys around and with signs to be careful. Looked to be what appeared to be people that were attending meeting events using the pool as they removed dress pants and white shirts then swam in their underwear then redressed after using the pool area. Should be monitored better and reserved for overnight paying guests only. Restaurant inconsistent. Opened at 630 however by 730 they were still setting up and laying out foods. Not restocking but setting up.Only half had name tags and struggled to pick up empty plates. Intake of AC in room created condensation on the tile floor in bedroom. Could be very wet, slippery and dangerous at times. Needed to use bath towels to help prevent slippage. We were all put off with a manager telling us to rate a 10 out of 10.

Value for money and the staff were very helpful.
