Great characterful place to stay
8.0Great location really quiet at night. Breakfast voucher for Y Sosban was brilliant.
− As it is so very hot an email asking if we wanted just a sheet rather than a warm duvet would have been a really nice touch. Really dark in the bathroom a second light in there would be useful.

Lovely location and clean well maintained rooms. Very convenient for the Snowdonia park and coastal locations .
9.0Beautiful location and charming old buildings and a newer one that are the rooms. Excellent bathrooms and comfortable bed. Very clean. Hosts were helpful when we had requests.
− There is also a camping site that shares the location. This orderly and well run, however it did mean it was a bit busier than expected, but not a problem. Parking became a bit tight at night when everyone was in.

10.0Staff are very friendly and welcoming. I love the rooms and also being a regular once you have seen a few of the cottages you can try request a specific room that has something you like about it in my case one of the beds has no footboard and I'm really tall so I love getting that particular room everytime I stay. Love eating outside in the communal garden. Perfect for the mach loop visits Only a few minutes from cad parking so practically on the doorstep. You can get visitors from 8am to 8pm low level right over the cottages if entering from the west. Town of Dolgellau is only a few mins away for shopping/eating Amazing gold sand beaches from Barmouth to Harlech only a maximum of 45mins away.
Nice place to explore Dolgellau area
8.0The staff were really helpful in assisting me to find a taxi to take me into Dolgellau. Love the rural location, like the historic building, the room was the right size for one night. Bathroom clean and tidy. There was a nice quantity of tea and coffee.
− My bed was clean, tidy, and comfortable, but it squeaked every time I moved. That's about it.

− Upstairs extremely hot due to the hot spell but little ventilation and air flow solely from the Velux window in the bedroom. Made it an uncomfortable night. No window in shower room. Thought the £184.30 was pricey for a one night stay.
