A perfect Birthday weekend at the Walden
10.0Our stay at The Walden was wonderful from the moment we walked in. The hotel was exceptionally clean, beautifully maintained, and smelled fresh as soon as we entered. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. We were celebrating my birthday weekend, and before I even came back downstairs to get the rest of our luggage, the staff had posted the birthdays and anniversaries being celebrated that weekend on the door. It was such a thoughtful touch that made the occasion feel even more special. The outdoor patio was one of our favorite features. The comfortable furniture, relaxing spas, and cozy fire pits created such a great atmosphere that my husband and I hardly wanted to leave the property. Our room was spacious, spotless, and well designed. I especially loved the barn-style bathroom doors that separated the toilet and shower areas for added privacy. Although the pillows were square for appearance, they flattened into the perfect sleeping pillow once you laid on them. They were so comfortable that I actually slept better than I do on my memory foam pillow at home. The beds were equally comfortable, and the private outdoor balcony was a wonderful place to relax. To top it all off, the breakfast was the best I've ever had at any hotel. Overall, The Walden exceeded our expectations in every way, and I would absolutely stay here again.
− The doors to the rooms were loud when they shut. I am sure this is because of the heavy doors due to fire code.
It was a decent stay with decent breakfast
6.0Breakfast was good and location was convenient
− Outside hot tub was shutting down in 5 mins and then we had to wait 15 mins to restart as there was no option to start it manually and we asked our room to be cleaned before we left for the day to to our activities but when we came back then didn’t even change the towels or cleaned the room and when asked the front office they said they can’t do anything as they have left for the day
