An itchy disappointment.
2.0The hotel has partnered with a local women’s cooperative foundation that make their staff uniforms - I like how they are giving back - I wish this was celebrated more. It was easy to arrange a tour for the underground river.
− Being bitten all over by bedbugs on the first night was a bad start to a disappointing holiday, lost two days of relaxing due to severe itching and the need to stay out of the sun. The hotel needs to work hard on staff training and expectations to reach brand standards. Multiple examples of staff standing around chatting or on their phones - rather than doing their jobs. Was hard to find staff when needed as they were distracted. There was dog poo next to the pool, whilst 3 lifeguards stood looking at something on social media on a phone. Rusty nail by the pool was another hazard. Food was sub par - very little options for a celiac or non-fish eater. Meals were inconsistent with quality - ordering the same dish 4 times and getting something different each time was worrying. Breakfast opens at 6am but when you arrive they are still madly setting up (they hadn’t even turned on the lights). Random power outages in the night would cause an emergency light to turn on in the room which woke us a few times. Pool towels were tatty and stained. Do not stay here if you are expecting Sheraton standards.

− Im Restaurant war leider Vieles den gesamten Zeitraum nicht erhältlich. Aufgrund der Lage ist es auch schwierig außerhalb gut Essen zu gehen.
