Worst resort ever

We booked for 10 nights with lots of expectations with this resort. But we experienced Worst trip ever, zero communication skills, huge language barrier, lack of support from staff, non friendly, no entertainment staff to keep guests engaged and involved, spending days felt like an effort, loneliness, left out, wifi is not available in whole resort. Never returning back ever again, not recommended to any one🙏😊🙏

Reminded me of Butlins in 80’s

Good location for airport. Well worn by beach pool, broken floor with pealing varnish. Room was dated and could have been cleaner. Shower flooded the place. Hotel divided into blocks, food mass produced. 100 % not a five star!!

Cold Showers, Construction Noise, and No Accountability

The overall service at Splash Resort was extremely poor. The reception staff were slow, unresponsive, and disorganized, making even simple requests frustrating. The shuttle service was unreliable—despite repeatedly being told it would be sent, it simply never arrived. Communication felt empty and untrustworthy. The resort itself feels old and poorly maintained, with many facilities outdated or broken. On top of that, guests are required to pay a cash-only deposit of 1,000 THB per person, which is unreasonable and inconvenient, especially for international travelers. This policy was neither guest-friendly nor clearly justified. The location of the resort is convenient, and the water park is enjoyable, especially for families with children. The bedding was also comfortable and clean, which we appreciated. However, despite these positivies, our overall experience was severely impacted by serious service and communication failures. We booked 2 bedroom penthouse Suite with Private Pool for two nights, paying approximately KRW *** M in total. At check-in, we were handed a letter informing us that due to scheduled water tank maintenance, there would be no hot water until 5 am next morning, and construction noise until 10 pm. This was the first time we were informed, despite the hotel clearly knowing about the planned maintenance in advance. There was no prior notice before arrival. We were traveling with a nearly 70-year-old elderly parent and two young children, who had to shower with cold water in what is supposed to be a luxury suite. Worse still, our so-called private pool was not private at all. Maintenance staff were working directly above our room and could look down into the pool area, making it uncomfortable. We lost the use of the private pool on the first day entirely. Although we were told construction would end by 10 PM, noise continued into the following afternoon, making it impossible to rest in the room. Complaints to reception resulted only in apologies, with no effective alternatives provided. As compensation, the hotel offered a fruit plate and, after repeated complaints, allowed a 2-hour late check-out, which does not reasonably compensate for the loss of hot water, privacy, quiet environment, and paid facilities. While the location, water park, and bedding quality were good, the lack of transparency and inadequate handling of planned maintenance made this stay poor value for the price paid.

Nonexistent service!

Booked through Agoda. I couldn't pay with my card online and called the hotel to make sure my reservation still was ok. The woman I spoke to said I could pay at desk at arrival. One hour before check in I got an email saying that my booking was cancelled. I called them again and they confirmed that there was no longer a booking. They could offer me and my family (2 adults, 2 children 10&11 years old) two 3 feet beds. There was no extra bed, but we had to pay 2000 bath extra per day for the kids. I was really upset, but all I heard was the Thai standard phrase "Sorry madam!" Really poor service, and I had to find another hotell. All this one hour before check in and my kids was so dissapointed, but I will never recommend anyone to book there!

Ruined our new years

Hotel is lovely and clean, plenty to choose for breakfast. Staff are lovely however you can never get a sun bed. To go into the water park you can't take your own towels in you have to pay for them and a locker and put money on a wrist band. New years eve not allowed to celebrate in the hotel unless you pay over £120 a person, cant even sit at the bar to watch the show. Never got offered tickets and when we we to buy them they were fully sold out. And no point did anyone ask us to buy tickets or explain that we can't watch the show, we were told we could by drinks at the bar and watch the show..To then be told no you can go celebrate in your room. Really disappointed when we came all the way from the UK to get told to celebrate the new year in our room.

A pleasant stay in this hotel

We booked two rooms and stayed for one night. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and did not encounter any negative issues at all. Everything was smooth and comfortable. Special thanks to K. Ammy at the front office for creating a memorable moment for us. All staff members across every department were kind and helpful. We truly hope to come back again in the future.
