Average, pleasant - exactly as expected
6.0Good location - close to the metro which was perfect for my stay. The rooms are average - nothing fancy but nothing awful. Exactly what I expected given what I had paid.
− Unfortunately the room above was playing loud music at 1130pm. I complained at the front desk and credit to the night shift manager, he went straight up and the music was shut off straight away. Unfortunately I was woken up again at 430am by the same people playing music again. Once again I went down to reception and he took care of it immediately. I can’t fault the staff, and I’m thankful he was so diligent and attentive. But it’s a shame the rooms are not better sound insulated. I do understand that these are old Dutch buildings so there is only so much they can do. But certainly something to be aware of when booking.
