For the price it was good but place needs soap in the bathroom and a good clean
6.0Bed, bathroom, tv & room size were all good. Good enough for a single night's stay. The natural light was great. The heating in the middle of winter was great. The process to book was very easy
− The whole place is very tired - everything could do with an upgrade - Dust on the fan and the floors could do with a deep clean. Not a single piece of soap or shampoo in sight. I think your should have some soap to wash your hands after the toilets at the least. No kettle or small amenities. The mini fridge was distractingly loud.
Disappointing
5.0I appreciated that the host accepted our cat. The Heritage House is wonderful, a step back in time, featuring beautiful stained glass windows, history, and a bedroom with views that open up to the trees. The covered parking was convenient.
− The place has so much potential, but it is not up to modern standards. The price should reflect that. The basic kitchen is poorly equipped. The fridge is whistling. Pan for one was a health hazard (non-stick surface almost gone). Garden furniture needs a proper clean-up to get rid of cobwebs and stains, and cushions should be shaken to remove dust and other scratchy twigs. We stayed for 9 days and would expect some cleaning once, or at least a vacuum cleaner at our disposal.
