My nature walk with the naturalist Sijo was very interesting and a great experience. I am amazed at the knowledge of birds and vegetation Sijo has, he made our walking trip very memorable and a good learning experience.

Five star ambience. Excellent lakefront & most scenic view from the room & the courtyard Extremely courteous, mannerful & helpful staff. Best of hygiene & cleanliness. Most authentic scrumptious Kerala cuisine very well guided & prepared by the chef according to our taste buds. Excellent & lavish breakfast buffet. Lot of fun activities especially guided village tour on bicycle with nature , boat ride, table tennis, carrom, cricket, billiards . It’s Wonderful Ayurvedic spa just relaxed my body & eased it out from all the pains. Overall a great experience & a must visit resort for the most luxurious, enjoyable & comfortable stay. Special thanks to Sindhu mam for caring & guiding us very well. Would love to visit time & again .

Amazing getaway at Kumarakam

I genuinely couldn’t have chosen a better place than Backwater Ripples, Kumarakom to celebrate my sister’s birthday. From the moment I shared my vision for the birthday decor, the team went above and beyond to bring it to life exactly as I had imagined. Everyone was so enthusiastic, supportive, and invested in making sure the celebration was truly special, and that meant so much to us. Beyond the celebration, the stay itself was wonderful. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, the food was delicious, and every member of the staff was warm, courteous, and always ready to help with a smile. The location overlooking the Vembanad Lake is absolutely surreal. Both the houseboat ride and speed boat ride on it were memorable! Waking up to such peaceful views and spending time amidst such calm surroundings made the entire experience incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. Thank you to the entire team for making my sister’s birthday so memorable. We are leaving with beautiful memories and hearts full of gratitude. I would happily recommend Backwater Ripples to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway or a special place to celebrate life’sspecial occasions.

Right from the online inquiry and online booking ably supported by Ms Aleena was amazing followed by Guest relations Manager, Ms Sindhu par excellence from facilitating all act ivies proactively after checkin. My son’s surprise Bday midnight cake cutting facilitated by Mr Sunil & team with pomp & show near lake side was beyond our expectations. What makes Backwaters Ripples stand out among other Resorts in Kumarakom, is their attention to details and passion with which do their job, making our short staycation not only memorable but a royal experience to treasure. Last but not the least, our royal chauffeur, Mr Shaji, who picked up us from airport and was with us through out our stay and drop back at our house. #gloriousdecade | #backwatersripples
