8.0The room was lovely and clean. Good location. Nice and quiet at night too. Also blackout curtains- a huge plus! Selly, the staff member who checked us in and out, was very smiley.
− A 4pm checkin (due to when staff start) is a bit late, especially as you still have to check out by 10am..The bed was a tiny double and bounced about so too soft. Didn't sleep well due to this. Could do with being firmer and a decent size. Other than that it was fine for a night.

8.0The location was excellent, just a short walk from the beach, which was perfect. The staff were outstanding. The lady who checked us in was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. We arrived slightly late for check-in, and she kindly waited for us. The owner was also fantastic, very responsive. After we left, my son realised he had forgotten his glasses. We were contacted within about 30 minutes, but we were already on our way home. They kindly offered to post the glasses to us, and they arrived the very next day. The customer service was truly exceptional. Breakfast was very good, and the main building, including the breakfast room, was clean, well-maintained, and very pleasant.
− The only downside was the room we stayed in. Unlike the rooms in the main building, ours was located in a basement area (I think it's called tripple de-lux room) and unfortunately it had a noticeable damp smell. It was very clean, but sadly the smell was quite bad. I only discovered later, that other people mentioned that in their reviews. Maybe having a permanent dehumidifier would help?

Good stay, exactly what we needed for our little trip.
8.0I liked the configuration of the room, the separate area for the single bed was perfect for giving privacy for the family while still being in the same room.
− There was a strong air freshener smell in the room which was not to my liking but it wasn't unpleasant. I am just very sensitive to odours.
