Vi tilbragte to nætter på dette skønne lille hotel i hjertet af Lyon. Vi blev modtaget af en – i disse tider – uhørt venlig og imødekommende receptionist. Både hun og resten af frontdesk medarbejderne var virkelig hjælpsomme og servicemindede. Selvom vi ankom før den officielle check-in tid var vores værelse klart. Hotellet er indrettet i romantisk empirestil, som er gennemført overalt. Fra værelsernes indretning til housekeeping’s uniformer. Vi var specielt glade for det rummelige badekar som gav mulighed for nogle skønne morgenbade med kaffekoppen ved hånden. Morgenmadsrestauranten er indrettet i samme stil og tilbyder et bredt udbud af franske specialiteter med mulighed for individuelle æggeretter. Et stort plus er hotellets centrale beliggenhed. Selvom der er 10-12 trappetrin fra gadeplan til receptionen, er der elevator herfra og op til de øverste etager. Vi blev endda tilbudt hjælp til at bære vores kufferter. Vi anbefaler dette skønne hotel med dets høje personlige service og glæder os til at komme tilbage hertil.

Het hotel, ligt midden in het centrum van Lyon alles is lopend te bereiken, lekker veel restaurants in de buurt

− Nou als er 1 ding mag worden aangepast is het ontbreken van croissants bij het ontbijt, en dat in Frankrijk daarnaast wel veel andere keuze

Lyon ist eine Reise wert.

A LITTLE GEM IN LYON

We spent two nights at this lovely little hotel in the heart of Lyon. We were welcomed by a receptionist who – in these times – was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Both she and the rest of the front desk staff were really helpful and service-minded. Although we arrived before the official check-in time, our room was ready. The hotel is decorated in a romantic Empire style, which is consistent throughout – from the room décor to the housekeeping staff’s uniforms. We were particularly pleased with the spacious bath, which allowed for some lovely morning soaks with a cup of coffee to hand. The breakfast restaurant is decorated in the same style and offers a wide selection of French specialities, including the option of customised egg dishes. A major plus is the hotel’s central location. Although there are 10–12 steps from street level to the reception, there is a lift from there up to the upper floors. We were even offered help carrying our suitcases. We highly recommend this lovely hotel with its high standard of personalised service and look forward to returning here.
