10.0Wir haben zum zweiten Mal auf der Reise nach Schottland hier Station gemacht. Wie immer eine besondere Atmosphäre. Hervorragende Lage. Sehr ruhig.
Overpriced, needs updating and rooms need proper cleaning under beds, remove cobwebs.
4.0The location was beautiful. Gardens were stunning. Peaceful and quiet. Taxis are very tricky in that area and expensive, plan and book way ahead of time. Breakfast was good. Property is cold bring jumpers.
− Room has so many cobwebs, weird to have a bathtub in the middle of a twin room (i.e. sharing with a friend not partner) but water was freezing so taking a bath was abandoned. Shower was hot and nice. Very outdated. But beds were so comfortable, heated blanket and pillows very lovely. Appreciated good coffee in the room.
Great value and place to stay
10.0Location was awesome. We really enjoyed sitting on the back patio in the evening by the river and watching the birds. Room was clean, bathroom was huge. Bed was comfortable. The little library of books in the room was fun, I've never stayed anywhere that had shelves of books in the room, made it feel more homey. Breakfast was very good and the staff were so sweet and helpful. Loved chatting with them. On our way out we got several recommendations of places to go see, which was really nice.

A perfect gem of a hotel.
10.0This is a wonderful gem of a hotel more akin to staying in someone’s country estate. The view from our bedroom was simply magnificent and the grounds are glorious. A perfect place to break a journey North and I shall return.
− Everything was as it should be. There was nothing we didn’t like.
