5.0Nice location in the beautiful village of Painswick. Bedroom was a good good size, as was the en suite My room had a terrace with a table and four chairs overlooking the valley, there was also a communal terrace with view accessed from the garden
− It’s a very basic bed and breakfast. You need to know what you’d like for breakfast as soon as you walk through the door and before you see your room. Very creased un ironed duvet cover on the bed, and thick dust you can write your name in on the dressers in the dining room. Owner does not seem to have a mobile ( or doesn’t provide you with the number) so I’m not sure what happens in an emergency.
It was a wonderfully relaxing break, in a wonderfully relaxing location.
9.0I really enjoyed my vegan breakfast. Richard is very friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble. The location is truly magnificent, and the locals are very friendly and helpful. Also, it was lovely to hear the church bells.

Quiet accommodation close to an excellent pub and coffee shop.
