A beautiful stay and a lovely location.
9.0My husband and I liked the hospitality from the owners, the lovely breakfast and magnificent Gardens surrounding the property, the bird life and seeing cassowary on the property and the enticing swimming pool.
− The only downside of this property is the thin walls between each accommodation, there was no privacy. Everything could be heard from the room Next Door.
Licuala Lodge was perfect for our three night stay and Johnny and Guillem were wonderful hosts.
9.0The breakfasts were wonderful - delicious fruit salad, yoghurt and topping, and home-baked bread, with friendly service that included lots of information about the local area and attractions. The location was perfect for us - a bit away from the main tourist areas, which made it quiet. The gardens and pool were beautiful. We even managed a glimpse of the resident carrowary.
− The en-suite bedroom was a bit small, but the bed was very comfortable, and access to the generous shared living/kitchen/laundry area provided more space if needed.

Licuala Lodge - wonderful hospitality
10.0We spent 4 nights at Licuala Lodge and it is in a terrific location. We saw two Cassawarys in the Forrest behind their pool, on the property. It has a gorgeous garden, very peaceful spot with lovely hosts that can't do enough to help. Beautiful breakfast on the balcony in the morning, overlooking the lovely garden and listening to bird song.
