Disappointing.
3.0Setting was peaceful.
− Muddy access from carport to balcony. Interior windows constantly wet. When we arrived we couldn’t get the heating to work. There was no one to assist us even though we had arrived during office hours. We telephoned and got a recorded message to send a message. We messaged at 4.43pm on 23/06/2026 followed by messages the following day at 9.33am and 2.01pm. Finally got a reply at 4.13pm. It was very cold without heating. An instruction book would have been helpful. Apparently the managers were on a supply run but surely they would have been able to respond to my messages at some point.

10.0Escaping back to nature. Especially being forced to switch off due to no signal which was amazing!!
− The kids beds being up the stairs with no gate. 3 year old made me nervous being up there.
Digital detox, in rainforest, near many beautiful waterfalls. Splash out on the 2 bedroom options!
6.0Great location to visit local waterfalls. Friendly and helpful owners. We stayed in the one bedroom Firefly accomodation, which is not a cabin on stilts but a converted container on wheels with a raised veranda - a very clever conversion, great small space design. Well equipped kitchen. Nice shower. Composting toilet, no issues, no odour. Nice to have a barbecue and outdoor dining facilities. The firepit was brilliant to have. My own fault, but I didn't realise that the one bedroom option was so different to the 2 bedroom cabin on stilts options, our accommodation wasn't quite what we were expecting.
− Zero WiFi or mobile service in the accomodation. If you are a reader no issues, but if you are a 'surfer' this is maybe not the spot for you. It was quite cool and dull in the clearing when we stayed, and bar 2 bush turkeys we did not see any of the bird life, although we could hear some in the canopy. The nights were about 15 degrees in May. The firepit was both entertainment and a lovely heat source, and the reverse a/c heated the cabin no problem. The bed and bed linen felt rather damp, due to the rainforest location, but the bed was comfortable. In Firefly the bed is the width of the container, so it is not possible to access the bed from both sides, but there is a beautiful view of the trees from both windows beside the bed.

6.0Loved the location and the peaceful atmosphere
− You can no longer have a fire which was one of the main things we were looking forward to. So if you are hoping to have a fire I’d look elsewhere. It should be stated somewhere that you can’t have a fire anymore. The blinds wouldn’t come down in the bathroom. You are in the rainforest but people can still see in especially at night with a light on as our bathroom looked onto the driveway, Floors needed a good clean. I think it was very overpriced. Staff were lovely and the kids loved the animals.
