8.0The Alexander is really well placed just 12 mins from the beach and it’s got good security and I was upgraded to a double room from a single which was a wonderful surprise. My room was spotlessly clean with a comfy bed with nice white linen and a spotless bathroom with bath and shower and fluffy white towels. There was a big flat screen tv (I didn’t use it) and a view over the rooftops down to the sea. I slept very well. Just be aware as it is an old Victorian house that the sound proofing isn’t brilliant. I could hear a child running around and crying in the room above me early evening but I slept undisturbed. Very good stay for one night in Swansea as I was passing through. And Lynn the owner was very helpful and charming when we spoke on the phone (I booked last minute so she gave me the instructions to self check in - all v easy). Thanks.

10.0Lovely, spacious room. Clean and tidy and well decorated. Needed a mat in the bathroom as you get out of the shower. Very slippery floor when wet.
