10.0If I could give this place 6 out of 5 stars I would. We stayed here during Christmas. Karlovy Vary is full of hotel options, many of which are expensive and corporate. This place is family owned and has a local feel. From the moment we entered, the staff cared enough to ask if we had dinner reservations for Christmas dinner and when we didn’t, assisted us on his own in calling around to find an option for us and making us a reservation. They asked what time we would like breakfast on Christmas morning and nice home cooked breakfast is provided for hotel guests daily. We chose a basic room in line with our budget but it was clean, the water pressure was great, and it served our every need. The location of this hotel is perfect- right across from coffee shops and restaurants, the Becherovka distillery and a short walk to the hot springs. Parking is about 800m walk away but you can drop your bags off at the hotel before parking, and it is discounted and in a secured underground garage. 10/10 would stay here again.

8.0Hotel Kavalerie is in a great location-very walkable! It’s a nice small hotel. The staff are very friendly & speak English very well. The breakfast was good. There is no a/c, but there was a fan in the room. My husband uses a CPAP, it was difficult with the room not having night stands because it was so small, hard to set up his medical device. The hotel was clean. The price was great! I Recommend this hotel for value, location & friendly staff!
