It was handy for where I needed to be. That's all

− I could be here for hours writing an essay on how disgusting this place is. All I will say is check the mattress and pillows before you pay. My mattress looked like it had had a murder committed on it as it was that stained. My pals pillow cases had got dried snot on them and he was convinced the room hadn't been changed from the previous guest. This was confirmed by housekeeping who said the rooms hadn't been cleaned the day before Anyway, filthy bed, cracked tiles, broken mirror, dirt on the window sills, stupidly hot water, UHT milk was off, kettle dirty and PAT testing out of date Stay at your peril. This place should be closed down it's that awful

Absolutley nothing

− This place is an absolute disgrace. Mattress was covered in stains, the sheets and pillow cases were dirty and there was a dried bogie on the sheets. The pillow cases smelt unwashed. Stains up the walls and bed base. The bathroom was dirty and dated, grout black with mould. The inside of the kettle was disgusting and nothing in the room had been PAT tested for 2 years. Nobody on site to speak to and checkout is by 10am when the place doesn't open until after and you are asked to post the key through a letterbox. Probably because they don't want to be around to hear your complaints? Saw the cleaner as I was leaving who said the rooms hadn't been cleaned from the day before so looks like I spent the night in a dirty bed. I would avoid this place at all costs.

Tatty, no breakfast, not worth the money charged

The staff were friendly on check in Guests helped us with luggage

− Staff looked at me like I had two heads when I asked for more milk for my room Crazy amount of stairs to get to room, one set really steep and narrow, we could barely get up them, guests helped us up with luggage No breakfast served, so two disabled people had to walk to town centre for breakfast which took an hour Although clean enough, the whole place was extremely tatty, our bedroom window frame was literally crumbling away Tiny room, tiny wardrobe, no hangers, no staff after pub closes No shelf or anything in the shower to put toiletries on so either bend to the floor or someone passes them to you

Just what we needed, no complaints at all. Friendly check in, fresh linen and towels, tea and coffee facilities-great
